5. Windows throws error when Eve tries to connect - in Windows [original thread]
After entering username and passoword, I click connect, it says "establishing connection with server", then goes barely into "Authenticating" before Windows throws an error and shuts Eve down. Here's the specifics: Dell D610 XP SP2 Classic Graphi...

10. Connecting thru a firewall - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Hey guys, I know there's been threads about this, but I still can't quite get it figured out. I have an SSH server running at home, and use putty for my local client. Does anyone know if EvE will work with just Putty, or if I need another program...

11. Connecting thru firewall - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
Okay, I've seen a thread on this before, but am having problems with a few aspects... Trying to connect thru SSH via Putty proxy. I know you supposedly have to set prefs.ini networkAdvanced=1 in order to point it at the proxy. However, I changed...

12. Kernite in Amarr Space - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I have noticed alot more miners going thru my normal system in Amarr space. Kern used to be plentiful in that system, now, you have to catch it on respawn days, or at least shortly after. However, I've only seen macro's come thru once, so I'm not ...

13. Best BC for mining director to fly - in Science and Industry [original thread]
IMHO the answer to your question is yes. The Harbinger (with the right skills) is awesome at said role. It is comparable to when I fit out my Apoc with 7 MinerII's and a tractor beam. However, In my experience, you'll need to slap a CapRechargerI...

Edited by: Triple Deke on 26/07/2007 21:30:19 I just got my hulk last week and haven't had a whole lot of time play around in it yet, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that you don't need a survey scanner in a hulk. Is my memory correct...

17. Put your money where your mouth is! - in Science and Industry [original thread]

18. [Statistics] How much does a miner earn nowadays? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I keep hearing people belly ache due to falling mineral prices. There's a very simple way to deal with this. Quit mining. Go do something else. Maybe organize a mining strike or something. If enough people quit mining, then the supply of ore will...

19. Miner career planning - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Mining in a BS is a good interum way to rake in ISK for buying a barge while training those pesky long skills (Astrogeology V and Mining Barge V). I'd recomend the following though.... 1. Stay in High Sec 2. Train "Drones" to 3 or 4, and buy some...
